Project Life Week 20 for D-Lish Scraps

Hello Crafty followers!!
Today is just a super quick post to share another layout for this months

I challenged myself to document our Week 20 of Project Life in a traditional scrapbooking style..

I started with a blank page, and some of the silver wire which I bent into a very wonky 'week 20'
Added in some Project Life cards, some white cardstock and an itty bitty bag. Then a good handful of D-Lish embellishments from the SHOP plus the random photos we took that week and I called it done.
I think I did ok??

Would love to see how you document your week without using pocket pages.
Please link up your posts in the comments below :)
AND don't forget to add your entries in to the D-Lish Scraps Link up over on the blog!!
You gotta be in it to win it!

Smile with Life Paper Scrapbook

Super excited to have been welcomed back to the Life Paper Scrapbook team for the next few months.
Today Im sharing my take on the newest sketch challenge.

And this is what I came up with...
As soon as I saw the sketch I instantly thought I had to make a 'patchwork' layout. The squares became different sized rectangular shaped pieces of the Heidi Swapp Favorite Things collection. I arranged these on a white piece of cardstock then sewed down like a quilt. I attached the patchwork piece to some kraft paper that I had experimented with earlier in the day using gesso, a Kaiser Craft mask and a pink gelato. So much fun!!

A close up of the machine stitching, along with a random thread I didnt realise was there until I was editing photos. Whoops!

Ive layered up stars and hearts designed by Heidi Swapp to finish off the page

Head on over to the LPS blog and check out the other creations made by other members of the Design Team. Be sure to join in the fun and load up any layout you make that are inspired by the sketch.

Happy Scrapping xx

Adventure Awaits with Life Paper Scrapbook

Back again with a quick share for this months Life Paper Scrapbook Mood Board Challenge

The colours of the board are not something that I would normally use to scrap photos of Leila, but I was up for a challenge! I was super inspired by the receipts in the top right corner, so i went to town with a bunch of notebook paper and some mists.

Ive layered the notepaper up with scraps of vellum, a Studio Calico transparency,
more papers from a Typo notepad and some Heidi Swapp banners.
Embellishments are from the Heidi Swapp 'Favorite Things' collection.
Letters are Pink Paislee Color Wash alphas

Thanks for stopping by, be sure to check out the LPS blog and enter your layouts :)

SPLISH SPLASH SPLOSH

I had a day of crafty fun with a friend the other week. It was awesome.
A day to create what ever I felt like, without any little people interruptions.

I managed to get 4 layouts done within a few hours! I was on a roll big time!!

With a sketch challenge from Life.Paper.Scrapbook and the new Basic grey HIGHLINE collection from Sassy Scrapper I set to work in creating this…

LOVE the background paper that I needed to use it all in the one layout, but felt it was too bright for what I wanted to do so I toned it down with some vellum.

I layered up strips of papers, stickers and banners

Add in a few lines of machine stitching and I called it done..

Entering this layout into the challenge over at Life Paper Scrapbook
this is the sketch to use if you want to join in the fun as well

Thanks for stopping by, more to share soon from my crafty day with Carol.

Hello Sunshine with D-Lish Scraps part 1

This month at D-Lish Scraps we are bringing in the SUNSHINE to brighten up our Winter chills..

I introduce to you Hello Sunshine

Bright hues of pink, blue and yellow teamed up with pops of grey and black make for this stunning colour combination.

Ive made 2 layouts with this colour combination so far, and I hope to make a few more.
First up is something new to D-Lish Inspiration Boards
A Project Life Layout

I knew straight away that those bitty bags would be perfect in the pockets to create bright pops of colour, along with leaving space for some hidden journalling. Ive even used one folded over to add room for some journaling on a photo (bottom left)

I've added more pops of colour and excitement within the page, from my vast range of D-Lish goodies. The shop is JAM PACKED with D-Lish products!! Check it out HERE

So many amazing layouts from the Creative Team are up on the blog HERE

We would love to see your take on the board! To be in the running link your layout by midnight on the last day of the month. You must take inspiration from the colours and elements provided in the board but the sketch is just there for a kick start if you need it, it's not compulsory.
