Snapshot.. with D-lish Scraps

Hi Everyone,
Sadly today is my last layout share for this current D-lish Scraps Design Team

I would like to thank Amanda for this wonderful opportunity the last 6 months, I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of letting my creativity flow with D-lish goodies

This page started out completely different. It was originally meant to be a full page of white cardstock/mixed media background, based on the current Inspiration Board.. But that wasn't working for me, so I ripped half the page up and started again, by mounting the best part to an older Amy Tangerine paper. So happy with how its turned out, I hope you like it too!

To make the background Ive used 2 different shades of blue distress ink, then once dry, stencilled the arrows with a Scrap fx stencil, coral coloured distress ink and some glitter paste. Lastly some splatterings of white ink, teal and gold color shine.

I started the embellishing with the photo mat.
Ive grabbed a paper bag and some matching hand dyed muslin, and layered with a doily
The Felt bow finished the photo off and made Leila look even Cuter!

Next up, Ive layered a journal it from a past kit, with a wordfetti strip, the strip from the bottom of the pattern paper, and a few other coloured Journal Its

A sprinkling of Resin flowers, a resin birdflair button from a past kit and enamel shapes make up the last of the embellishments for the page

Thanks for joining me the past few days
I look forward to seeing what the rest of the team creates for our last month of Inspiration

This Crazy Face.. with D-lish Scraps

Hi Everyone
Back today with another Layout share for D-lish Scraps
This one features a layout based on one of the current Cyber Crop Challenges, set by Sue

Its also Colour palette that I don't think Ive every used before.. Purple and orange with black, white and Silver! How very halloween!!

Love the sketch Sue has designed, so many fun layers!
Once again Ive gone straight to my paper bag stash rather than my pattern papers.
Ive also added in some silver and white spotted tissue paper (from a past kit) and more fun punchinella!
All layered up together with some strips of washi tape - both colours are part of one roll, how cool!

A couple of Journal its layered with a Wooden Camera mixed with some Resin pieces and a paper flower make up this cluster

Love using Wordfetti, for adding some extra 'journalling' of sorts to the page. So many fun little sentiments can be found within the range

And lastly the title made from black Thickers, and a few left over strips of paper bag, tissue paper and washi strips finish the page off.

Thanks for stopping by today, I will be back tomorrow with my last page for the month

Document Happy.. with D-lish Scraps

Hello Everyone!
Today I have the first of my 3 last pages for the current D-lish Scraps Team
I have really enjoyed being part of the team over the last 6 months. If you love D-lish goodies, then I encourage you to apply now for the next group of inspiring designers.

Now back to the layout ;)
Today, like the last 5 months, Im starting with an Inspiration Board layout
A reminder of the board which was shared HERE yesterday

I drew inspiration from the chevron patterns, feathers, birds and arrows. The Teal, blue, gold and white colours within the board are one of my favourite colour combinations that I just don't use enough, and Ive even added some slight hints of oranges.

Love how this has turned out. Such an easy sketch to play around with. And, Im really liking using up some of my paper bag stash. I've layered up 2 5x7 bags by opening them up and using them like I would pattern papers.

Ive used leftover strips from the chevron bag along the top and bottom of the page, layered with some offcuts of velum, embellished with a Resin Bird and enamel shapes, then splattered with Gold Color Shine

Main cluster of the page made with feathers (from a recent Crate Paper collection, perfect colours for this layout, and complimented the D-lish embellishments) an Arrow paper clipJournal It, some wooden buttons - one that Ive added some extra glitter to, and a flair button

I made my title using glitter paper and Heidi Swapp metal word dies, Ive stuck the words directly to the photos, which are mounted onto vellum, then a banner strip of punchinella

Theres some repetition of embellishments and clusters around this page, this mini cluster made of more wooden buttons and a Flair button

And lastly Ive mirrored the same strip and birds from the top of the page along the bottom, this time with 2 resin birds and a splattering of gold Color Shine.

Thanks for stopping by, be sure to share your projects with us on the D-lish Scraps Blog
Back with more tomorrow
Happy Scrapping
