My Creative Space.. Sassy Scrapper Recipe Challenge August 2015

Hi Everyone
I have another Challenge layout to share with you.
This layout was made for the Sassy Scrappers August Recipe Challenge

I took inspiration from all the bright colours, which I love to scrap with as they are SO much Fun!

I started with a Kaiser Mist in Pink, and using some plastic packaging and water, created some random splotches around the page. I layered my photo up with some silver POW glitter paper and a favourite Doily, then wound the twine across the page and glued/stapled it into place

A few cute mini clusters of stickers, enamel dots and shapes and a paper flower or 2 from my D-lish embellishments stash

I created a banner using stickers from a Bella Blvd sticker sheet, and sewed them down with the sewing machine. More embellishments from D-lish Scraps (Flair from Clique Kits just add Color kit)

Using my trusty old typewriter, Ive added a few strips of text on vellum to finish the layout off

Thanks again for stopping by
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and can find time to Get your craft on

Bathing Beauty.. Jot Magazine Mood board August 2015

Hi Everyone,
Today Im sharing a page I've made for the August Jot Magazine mood board

Loving the mix of blues within this board. I thought it was going to be a challenge for me to not use Pink, but I think I managed pretty well. I've stayed true to my style, and had lots of fun in the process.

Bathing Beauty is made up of something old, something new, something borrowed and so much blue!
Old pattern papers from my stash that Ive been holding on to for 'the right page' teamed with New Dish Scraps embellishments and I borrowed mums sewing machine quite some time ago, and am yet to give it back
Rather than hand writing the journalling like I normally do, I've opted for typed journalling on vellum using my typewriter

A mixed alpha title, using up some thickers from my stash. Ive had both these packs for quite a few years, neither of them opened up lol

I went straight to my D-lish stash for embellishments, plenty of pretty ones to chose from

and lastly a close up of some smooshed (is that even a word) modelling paste that I found wrapped up in my desk drawer. No idea what colour it was that I used from my Color shine collection to make it like that, it was from a few months ago

Thanks for stopping by, More to share soon for another current scrappy challenge

Hooray, I did it!

Hooray, Today is my last page share for D-lish Scraps this month, and it would have to be my most favourite!

It might have something to do with the awesome paper I chose for the background, or the fun embellishments I chose to scatter around the page

To begin with I sewed around the circular printed design of the page, then made a simple photo mat made from silver Punchinella. I popped the photo up with some foam tape for a bit of dimension, then embellished with a sequin bow and enamel shapes from the 6th Birthday sale

Next up I worked on this group of Journal It's from a few different packs (Caribbean Skies Journal kit bits pack, Polka dot arrow word tabs, and a 'Bright' Jumbo Note ticket that I fussy cut)

Another Sequin bow tops this cluster of cuteness, The cute little deer flair is from the Caribbean Skies kit bit flair pack. Ive also used Journal its from the Mixed ticket tabs and Jumbo word tickets packs

Lastly I worked on the title, again using mixed alphas from my stash and another sequin bow

Thanks for joining me the last few days, Cant wait to get started on next months pages

This little Piggy

Hello again
Im back today with a second layout inspired by this months Inspiration Board colour palette..
These colours are definitely my favourites to scrap with
I started the background using a stencil from my stash, some texture paste and Teal Color Shine. I left it to dry, then added some soft pink hearts with a Scrap FX stencil and Distress ink.

Next, Ive opened up a Bitty bag to use behind the photo, and layered both on top of some Pink hand dyed muslin

The first cluster I worked on consists of, some bundled twine, an arrow clipflair buttonResin flower and bird and 2 paper flowers

Next I gathered some older alphas for my mixed title, I sewed the bottom stickers down as they had started to lose their stickiness. The enamel shapes to the right are from the mixed pack sold over the D-lish Scraps 6th Birthday weekend

The last cluster above the title is made up of a felt bowresin bird and flower

Lastly Ive gone a little sequin scatter crazy to finish the page off, may have added a few too many lol

Thats all from me today, be sure to check back tomorrow for my last page for this month

this Crazy Kid

Happy Weekend everyone!
Today I have my first share for D-lish Scraps this month.

I thought I would start things off with an Inspiration Board layout.
I was so inspired by the colour palette that I've used it (or similar) for all 3 of my layouts this month.

A look at the board that was shared on the D-lish blog yesterday
http://d-lishscraps.blogspot.com.au/2015/08/august-inspiration-board-challenge.html

So many different ideas formed from this board. The main inspiration taken is from the sweets in the cup, the word love on the bracelets, the colours of the board and a very rough interpretation of the sketch turned into this..
Lots of yummy layers within this layout, really happy with how it turned out.

Ive used a 5x7 and a bitty bag, both cut in half and stuck down with some vellum under the paper layers, to create a wide horizontal strip across the base of the page.

Ive layered some Pink hand dyed Muslin under the 'LOVE' wood veneer, and topped it with a sparkly sequin bow. I painted the veneer with some Teal Color Shine and a Wink of Stella clear glitter brush

The Photo mat is made up of a Heart shaped paper doily, and Pinkfresh Studio frame (no longer stocked) and a Jounal it ticket. The cluster above contains a coloured wood button, Resin flower and a heart pin from my stash

This super cute little cluster is my favourite, printed wood button, coloured heart button and a resin flower all sit to the right of the mixed alpha title

And lastly this fun cluster made up of another resin flower, polka dot button, flair button, arrow paperclip and a wordfetti strip

Thanks for stopping by today, Be sure to check in tomorrow for my next layout share
