Creative Cards | D-lish Scraps

Hello! Super quick post today to share some cards I made for this months D-lish Scraps Inspiration Board

The Board this month is FULL of pinks and pretty inspiring pictures which is perfect for lovers of D-lish products as theres so many things that come in pink!

Lets take a closer look at each card..

This one took no time at all, and can easily be replicated. I've used a white card base with a piece of Pink pattern paper cut to size, a lace doily in the 4 inch size, a bunch of pink Forget me Not flowers (literally from the bag I received them in) a pretty sequin bow, cardfetti strip and a couple of mini glitter enamel dots. Super quick and easy!

The second card required a little extra time, and way more flowers than the other. I've used the same white card base with the reverse side of the pattern paper from the other card, another 4 inch white lace paper doily, some paper flowers, fabric flowers, an older crochet flower, some resin pieces, coloured wire, cardfetti strip, my favourite glitter enamel dots and some stamens.

Thats all from me for now, hopefully these cards have given you some form of inspiration!
Be sure to check out the D-lish Scraps blog to see what some of the other designers created for this board. Oh and make sure you check out the Scrap Suite on Facebook too! A place where everyone can share D-lish Inspired creations!

Creative Cards | D-lish Scraps

Hey Everyone! Back today with a quick share based on the New Inspiration Board at D-lish Scraps
'Fresh Cut' features a fresh palette of greens and gold, which combined together make for some juicy creations..

Here's a look at the new board

I thought I'd mix it up this month, by creating some cards. I hope you like them

Here's a closer look

For this card I started with some pattern paper and cardstock from my stash along with a Project Life card that I've fussy cut and used in the centre of a lace doily. I grouped together paper and resin flowers either side of the circle made from coloured wire, along with a Sequin butterfly, minifetti and some enamel glitter dots

With this card I started with the same pattern papers, layered with white cardstock, some punchinella, a lace doily, paper bag that you can't really see and a Project Life card. To the sides I've used paper flowers, a sequin bow, arrow paper clip and some cut file pieces from The Cut Shoppe (Washi Love)

I really enjoyed making these cards, and can't wait to one day gift them onto someone.

Just the three of Us | D-lish Scraps

Hello Hello!
Hope all my crafty friends are well!

Some of you may have seen the announcement yesterday for the new Design Team. I'm so excited that I am staying on! YEP, you haven't seen the last of me over there just yet lol So very thankful that Amanda decided that I could stay on the team, as I just wasn't ready to say goodbye just yet!

On that note, today's layout share is for D-lish Scraps and is inspired by the Newest Inspiration Board. Here's a look at this months Board..

Loving this colour palette, and I had too many ideas forming so it was hard to get started..

So here's what I came up with..

I've documented a very sweet moment between the three of us, a very rare opportunity to capture a photo. In saying this, I've actually framed this layout ready to hang somewhere in our house.

I kept the embellishments to a minimum as I used quite a busy pattern paper for the background, and kept the title smaller than I usually would. For the cluster I've grouped together a Stitchable Heart, white Magnolia and a Cherry Blossom. I also tucked in a minifetti strip under the flowers and used a new Glitter dot and an enamel heart to balance out the cluster

Theres a bitty bag unfolded and roughly torn tucked between the photo and lace doily, then a 'Right now" journal it (these can be found in the monochrome journal it packs) tucked into the top of the photo and stapled down

I made a mini cluster at the top left of the page using a wood veneer star, minifetti strip and another new Glitter dot. Then I glued that felt bow down with my hot glue gun and instantly regretted its placement. Wishing it was on the top of the frame below it, but oh well.. It still looks ok.

Lastly I added another mini cluster to the bottom left of the layout using a strip of mini washi tape, a flair button, another Wood veneer star and glitter dot, and finished it off with some strips of journalling. Once the page was complete I added in a few mini crosses using a flat paint brush and some Jillibean Soup Happy Hues paint in the Amiable Aqua colour.

Thats all from me today. Thanks so much for stopping by
I'm excited that I get to continue sharing my work within the D-lish Scraps Community, and hope that you all enjoy seeing it just as much!
Until next time, Happy Scrapping

Just like Nanny | D-lish Scraps

Hello Fellow Scrappers!!
Welcome back to day 2 of D-lish Scraps sharing from me.
Today I thought I would share a cute layout of Leila that was inspired by our newest Inspiration Board. Such a cool and calming colour combo to play with

I've just recently re-organised all my D-lish goodies by colour! It was a massive task. Those who have seen my D-lish stash would understand as theres just so much of it!
However, I was able to really see what colours Im more drawn to when scrapping, and those I've never touched lol And it made it much easier to scrap knowing I wouldn't have to sort through everything to find the right items to embellish the page

And now a closer look at what I created..

I love the soft, cool vibe I get from this page. I chose to document a photo of Leila, being cute yet again. On this day she had run out of the room saying 'I want to be just like you Nanny' and came back in with my Mum's reading glasses. So cute! She even stopped and asked for a photo 'So you can add it to my book mum!' Well ok, I won't argue with that :)

I started the page with some diagonal stripe paper from my stash for the corners and a camera paper for the main photo mat. Between the camera and the photo I've layered a pretty doily with a printed doily tag, and a spotted paper bag at the back of the layers.

My favourite part of the page, apart from the photo, is this huge cluster of florals and circular shaped items. Made up of Flairpaper flowersresin flowers and a birdenamel shapes, felt doilies (old item no longer available), and a new item to the store - wood veneer stitchable hearts

The bottom cluster is made up of more resin & enamel pieces, a wordfetti strip and some fun aqua Punchinella. Love these colours together. That punchinella colour would have to be my favourite!

I kept the title quite simple, with a hint of sparkle. Just the way I like it!

and lastly the journalling typed up and documented.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, be sure to check back tomorrow for my final share for the month.
Until then, Happy Scrapping

Lets go on an adventure...

Hello Everyone!
Today Im sharing my first layout for the month with D-lish Scraps

This layout was made for the current D-lish Scraps Inspiration board. I wanted to show that you can definitely use the colour scheme for non masculine layouts.

I struggled a little with the navy colour as at first I thought it was black. By the time I realised it was actually Navy it was a little late, but I still rolled with it

Ive based the layout on the sketch, which I flipped around to the right. I started the layout with a white cardstock base, and some My Minds Eye pattern paper. I swapped out the viewfinders on the Board for pretty doilies as they're the same shape. Using some whipped spackle and a mask similar to THIS ONE. Ive added stars to the top left and bottom right of the papers, then splattered with Navy colour shine and sprinkled with wood veneer stars.

To build up the photo stack, Ive used a 5x7 bag, cut down and overlapped the pieces together to make a smaller rectangle. Then Ive layered a bitty bag on top of a Vellum bag from personal stash. I popped a tag from stash inside the bag for journalling about the photo.

I tried to keep the embellishments to a minimum, some Journal It's from a monochrome pack, a word strip from a wordfetti pack. Banner flags cut from other Bitty bags layered on top of a doily. I made my own 'flair' using a wordfetti strip and pieces of Bitty bag and an Epoxy Resin seal. 2 resin pieces and a Sequin bow make up the last of the cluster.

Lastly I tackled the title with some mixed alphas from stash, and a simple Freckled fawn arrow clip.

Thanks for stopping by

Happy Scrapping

Snug as a bug.. D-lish Scraps layout

Hello everyone!!
I am very honoured to have been chosen as one of the very lucky creators to be part of the newest D-lish Scraps Design Team. Most of you would know I was the Inspiration Team Co-ordinator. However from the start of April I jumped ship!!

For my very first layout Im sharing something I created for this months Inspiration Board. I made this prior to being accepted on the Design Team, and found it a real challenge to use colours I don't normally gravitate towards.
Absolutely stunning board to be inspired by

Ive taken inspiration from the sketch, the colour palette and the sparkly pops of gold

Items used from my personal stash are strips of paper from the Dear Lizzy Serendipity collection, white cardstock, vellum, a favourite doily, Heidi Swapp alphas & splatters of Color shine.
All other embellishments, listed at the bottom of the post can be found within the D-lish shop, unless sold out due to my massive shopping spree a few weeks back lol

I love clusters of mixed embellishments together, and like most scrappers, always an odd number

I love the versatility of the bags within store too, perfect to use as a photo mat if you can't find the right pattern papers to match. The string of sequins was the perfect colour choice to blend in with this layout. Its actually white, but reflects the mint and pink/purple just nicely.

I did go a little crazy and purchased a few packs of the rainbow Freckled Fawn arrows (in both sizes)
They may feature in a few projects in the next few months, as they're perfect for holding things together when you run out of glue tape ;)

Products used from the D-lish shop:
Flair Buttons - Hello World, Defining Words white
Freckled Fawn - Coloured Arrow clips, Wood Chips Hearts
Dyed Wooden Buttons - Hearts, Butterfly
Felt Doilies - Frames Small - Blue
Tags - Little Birdie Mix Media Traditional Tags with Jute twine , Kraft Mixed shipping tags
Bitty Bags - Gold Polka Dot
5x7 Bags - Gold Chevron
Sequins - White
Journal its - Cardfetti Sweet sentiments, Note Strips Rainbow

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have enjoyed my first share for the D-lish Scraps Design Team

Happy Scrapping
