Fresh Garden Blooms | D-lish Scraps

Hello! Another layout share for D-lish Scraps today
This one was inspired by a Cyber Crop Challenge set by Sandra in the Scrap Suite

I've chosen to document something other than Leila for this layout. Hooray you say? Well her albums do lol They're running out of space! The variations of Daisies we have growing out the front are still blooming! I didn't even know that was possible this time of the year. But then again, I'm no green thumb. We pretty much just stuck anything in the garden to try it out and see what happened lol

Here's what I came up with to document the memory of our first Jar of Blooms

I chose 4 different pattern papers from a Simple Stories 6x6 paper pad, sorted out a 3 word title, settled on 2 photos of different sizes and found a Journal it card to match the collection. Last I chose 5 different embellishments from the D-lish Store to compliment the photos and papers within the collection used - Paper Flowers, Flair Button, D-lish Dots, Sequin Bow and some Resin pieces.

Here's some close ups

I've used the largest size paper doily under all the layers

Die Cut shapes, alphabet stickers and papers are all from the So Fancy collection by Simple Stories

Thats all for my D-lish Scraps shares this month
Thanks so much for stopping by
Until next time, Happy Scrapping

Hello new adventure

Hey Everyone
This is layout # 2 for me this month using the most recent June Globetrotter kit.

Another simple, less layered, more spread out layout.
One that not only documents getting the keys to our new house, but the start of a new adventure for us as a family. Ive even managed to scrap one of all those spare keys within one of the cute Maya Road envelopes

Love all the little bits within the Atlas ephemera pack.

And the key, tucked away for safe keeping

Thanks for joining me today, one last layout share from me during the week thats a little more layered than the last 2

New Pj's

Hello Fellow Crafters!
Im back again to share my final page made using the February Scrapbook kit Brave

Ive got plenty left to keep creating with this kit, but a pile of off-cut scraps were calling out to be used
Super simple, and done really fast!
Ive lined up all the pieces to the right of the page, then set my photo stack slightly off centre

Some not so neat machine stitching around the photo and title for a little texture
I've popped the flower sticker up with some foam tape for slight dimension to the page

and minimal embellishing (seems to be my thing lately) around the page to finish it off
oh and don't forget the color shine splatters ;)

Selfie Addicts

Hey Everyone
Sharing another page I made using the Scrappy Canary Brave Scrapbook kit for the March Sketch Challenge.

These challenges are so much fun, and can be interpreted in so many ways.

A reminder of the sketch for you (Challenge has now closed)

Ive kept the same grid style sketch but changed it up slightly with the way I've blocked it out
I joined a couple of my squares together to form rectangles along the top and bottom, and made a photo mat with 2 papers from the Brave scrapbook kit under my square photos.

I've used some old Heidi Swapp alphas with some color shine rather than the thickers in the kit, as I felt the others were to loud for this layout

Minimal embellishing using stickers from the kit in clusters

And for something a little different for me.. I used an old dusty typewriter for my journalling
It reads
We seem to take so many selfies lately...
But, if thats the only way I can get a photo of you, i will take it.
Plus... its also lots of fun

I finished the page off with some machine stitching along random edges of pattern papers, and the full border of the white cardstock. I also matted the entire page to the "Brave" pattern paper

Thats all from me today, be sure to keep an eye out over the next few days for some exciting Scrappy news :)

You love to Scoot

HI Everyone!
Today I thought I would share another layout made using the Scrappy Canary "Brave" Scrapbook kit

This is actually the 3rd layout that I created.. Im still working up the courage to share the 2nd as it contains one seriously crazy selfie of myself lol The page itself turned out pretty cool.. but for now, lets focus on this fun layout!

I channelled into my layering side and went a little crazy with the complementing patterns.
I stuck to colours that blended well with the photo of Leila scooting through the 'jungle'.
This child absolutely LOVES her scooter, and the bridge across the fernery at Mum and Dads house. Out there every morning since Christmas, provided its not wet!

I love the colour of these thickers as they works so well with the colours within the kit..
However Im still not sure about the font, they're certainly taking some time to grow on me..

As Ive layered up quite a few different pattern papers, I tried not to over embellish. The stickers within the kit worked perfect for a final touch along with a few splatters of gold Color Shine.

Thanks again for stopping by
I hope this has inspired you in some way

You are Beautiful & Strong

Happy Monday everyone
I hope you all had a relaxing weekend with time to scrap..

Today I thought I would share the first layout I made with the Brave Scrapbook kit
I shared this last night on the Scrappy Canary blog also

This page was inspired by a few different sketches Ive come across lately that feature a full piece of pattern paper along 2/3 of the page.
The Courageous paper from the kit was perfect for this, I used both sides of the paper for this layout
The hearts paper from a new Aussie based company Cocoa Vanilla Studio fits perfect with the other papers and embellishments within the kit. Ive used it on most of my layouts as Im in LOVE!

I gathered a few of the frames from the kit and stacked them randomly in a cluster with the photo stack. Layered above, below and on top of this section are stickers from the 12x12 I am sticker sheet

And lastly a flair and more stickers to embellish the gold heart from the 'Courageous' Paper.
A few random splatters of color shine to finish off the page.

Thanks for stopping by,
I have more to share within the next few days
