Adventure Awaits with Life Paper Scrapbook

Back again with a quick share for this months Life Paper Scrapbook Mood Board Challenge

The colours of the board are not something that I would normally use to scrap photos of Leila, but I was up for a challenge! I was super inspired by the receipts in the top right corner, so i went to town with a bunch of notebook paper and some mists. 

Ive layered the notepaper up with scraps of vellum, a Studio Calico transparency, 

more papers from a Typo notepad and some Heidi Swapp banners. 

Embellishments are from the Heidi Swapp 'Favorite Things' collection.

Letters are Pink Paislee Color Wash alphas

SPLISH SPLASH SPLOSH

I had a day of crafty fun with a friend the other week. It was awesome. 

A day to create what ever I felt like, without any little people interruptions.

I managed to get 4 layouts done within a few hours! I was on a roll big time!!

With a sketch challenge from Life.Paper.Scrapbook and the new Basic grey HIGHLINE collection from Sassy Scrapper I set to work in creating this…

LOVE the background paper that I needed to use it all in the one layout, but felt it was too bright for what I wanted to do so I toned it down with some vellum. 

 I layered up strips of papers, stickers and banners 

 Add in a few lines of machine stitching and I called it done..

Along with stacks of fun embellishments from D-Lish, Ive layered up papers, tags and border strips from the current Kaiser Craft Happy Snaps range. I scrap lifted the glasses idea from one of the ladies who was part of the Autumn D-Lish team.. SO COOL!

Hello Sunshine with D-Lish Scraps part 1

This month at D-Lish Scraps we are bringing in the SUNSHINE to brighten up our Winter chills..

I introduce to you Hello Sunshine

Bright hues of pink, blue and yellow teamed up with pops of grey and black make for this stunning colour combination. 

Ive made 2 layouts with this colour combination so far, and I hope to make a few more.

I knew straight away that those bitty bags would be perfect in the pockets to create bright pops of colour, along with leaving space for some hidden journalling. Ive even used one folded over to add room for some journaling on a photo (bottom left)
