Finders Keepers.. for Scrappy Canary

Hello Everyone!!
Super excited to be back sharing some fresh layouts with the newly released Scrapbook kit
The kit features papers and embellishments from Amy Tangerine, Dear Lizzy & Bella Blvd and is full of bright happy colours.

The photo Ive chosen to kick this month off with, is Leila doing what she does best.. Being cute, crazy and funny all at once! I captioned this photo on Instagram "Absolutely obsessed! The minute it's off me its on her!!" She truly is obsessed and keeps asking for her own... Um not yet lol

The 'Treasure' paper really suited the theme of the photo quite well. Lots of words and sentiments that  work perfect to describe this moment.

I absolutely LOVE ephemera packs! Such a great mix of cards and shapes that are easily layered up
The pack also includes banners and some acetate pieces

The Finders Keepers card is from the Quest cut apart page, perfect for Titles

Ive added ripped strips of the Dear Lizzy washi tape to a few places around the page, stapled some shapes on and added some older Canary dots.

All finished off with a few splatters of Gold & Black Heidi Swapp Color shine

Thanks for stopping by,

Kind Heart.. for D-lish Scraps

Hello Everyone,
Today is my last layout share for this month with D-lish Scraps

Originally, I had a different direction for this page, but I'm super happy with how it ended up.

First up I experimented with a Scrap FX stencil, and traced around and inside it with a black journalling pen. I backed it with some roughly torn tissue paper from a past kit, then stuck them down onto more white cardstock. I've layered up some Coloured Tullepunchinella and vellum underneath my photo, and popped up both that and the 'Kind Heart' card from a past kit with some foam sheet

I've stretched out some spiral stamens for some extra dimension on the page, plus they are pretty cool! Ive also added a super sparkly sequin bow to the top of the photo

Minimal embellishing around the page using Freckled fawn chipboard stickersD-lish enamel shapes

Some moTEX tape for additional Title work, and some Rhinestones

Lastly a few tiny stapled to hold things in place, and random splatters of Black Heidi Color Shine

Thanks for stopping by the last few days,
I cannot wait to see what the new team members create and share this month!!

Happy Scrapping!

Sunkissed.. for D-lish Scraps

Hello Hello!! I hope you're all having a wonderful long weekend!
I'm back today with layout share number 2 for D-lish Scraps
I really love how this has turned out, although the photo doesn't show up the reason for documenting it, Leilas cute little face has just started showing little freckles!

I really love the colour palette that this layout took on. I get such a summery vibe just looking at it

I started the page by ripping some strips of tissue paper from the past kits bits, and placing them at the top and bottom of the layout. I've then grabbed a Scrap FX stencil and some distress inks and created a blended ombre effect beneath the photo area.

Next, I layered up some white punchinella, scrap pieces of a vellum bag and the photo, and popped them up with some foam sheet. Then I moved onto the clusters of D-lish goodness

To the left of the photo Ive used a new layered feather (which are super cool and sparkly) a Flair button and journal its from Past kits, a new pastel petal flowerpetite rosebud resin and a chipboard heart from Freckled Fawn. All clustered together with a messy bunch of thread

My second cluster is made up of more pastel blooms, another messy bunch of thread, glitter heartmini coloured doilypetite rosebud resin and some new tags

In the top cluster I've grouped together a piece of mini white doily with a pastel petal flowerglitter chipboard starpick & place bow and a sentiment sticker from my stash.

Lastly I went crazy with some splatters of Heidi Swapp color shine in Gold, Butter and Blush

Thanks for stopping by, see you all tomorrow with my last share for this month

Our Sweet Treasure.. for D-lish Scraps

Hello Everyone!!
So excited to share that I am staying on the D-lish Scraps team for another 6 months!
A big thank you to Amanda for allowing me to stay on! YAY

I cannot wait to share my first few layouts with you, so lets get right into it!

As usual Im kicking the month off with our Inspiration Board.. and isn't this a cracker!!
Primary Colours are not something I've been drawn to before, but I really like how this has turned out
I took inspiration from the Pinwheels, the patterns on the flags and cups, and the paper circles in the bottom right photo

I really love the end result. Although there were a few issues, and the page may have taken me a few nights to complete after losing track of the direction I wanted the page to take.. Those pinwheels.. I tell you! They nearly went in the too hard to scrap around basket.. Super easy to make, and boy do they look awesome, but heck, if you don't place them in the right way, the page just will not fall together right! LOL

To make the pinwheels, Ive used 2 different tissue papers from the Past kits & Bits section of the store, plus a bitty bag. I layered them over white cardstock to give them strength, so that they would have some dimension and not lay flat. They're glued onto some paper straws, and embellished with a sequin heartflair button and a resin heart. Ive cut the little sentiment banners from the mini wordfetti piece within THIS past kit bit

Attached to one of the straws is a Dip-dye Printed tag, with Freckled Fawn glittery chipboard stars

To Create the title, Ive used some Chipboard words from Memory Maze
Ive layered vellum and some foam sheet under the photo, and embellished with white pastel petals

For the top cluster, I've gathered some Mini coloured doilies that are Oh so CUTE! A polkadot bowJournal it arrow, Pinkfresh Studio wood arrow, resin cabochon starsa scalloped journal it from a Past kit, and a journal it tab that Ive cut down. Lastly Ive splattered some Heidi Swapp Color shine in Butter, Sweet Cherry & Ocean

Thanks for stopping by today. Be sure to check back in tomorrow for my next layout share
Happy Scrapping!

Snapshot.. with D-lish Scraps

Hi Everyone,
Sadly today is my last layout share for this current D-lish Scraps Design Team

I would like to thank Amanda for this wonderful opportunity the last 6 months, I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of letting my creativity flow with D-lish goodies

This page started out completely different. It was originally meant to be a full page of white cardstock/mixed media background, based on the current Inspiration Board.. But that wasn't working for me, so I ripped half the page up and started again, by mounting the best part to an older Amy Tangerine paper. So happy with how its turned out, I hope you like it too!

To make the background Ive used 2 different shades of blue distress ink, then once dry, stencilled the arrows with a Scrap fx stencil, coral coloured distress ink and some glitter paste. Lastly some splatterings of white ink, teal and gold color shine.

I started the embellishing with the photo mat.
Ive grabbed a paper bag and some matching hand dyed muslin, and layered with a doily
The Felt bow finished the photo off and made Leila look even Cuter!

Next up, Ive layered a journal it from a past kit, with a wordfetti strip, the strip from the bottom of the pattern paper, and a few other coloured Journal Its

A sprinkling of Resin flowers, a resin birdflair button from a past kit and enamel shapes make up the last of the embellishments for the page

Thanks for joining me the past few days
I look forward to seeing what the rest of the team creates for our last month of Inspiration

Happy Scrapping

This Crazy Face.. with D-lish Scraps

Hi Everyone
Back today with another Layout share for D-lish Scraps
This one features a layout based on one of the current Cyber Crop Challenges, set by Sue

Its also Colour palette that I don't think Ive every used before.. Purple and orange with black, white and Silver! How very halloween!!

Love the sketch Sue has designed, so many fun layers!
Once again Ive gone straight to my paper bag stash rather than my pattern papers.
Ive also added in some silver and white spotted tissue paper (from a past kit) and more fun punchinella!
All layered up together with some strips of washi tape - both colours are part of one roll, how cool!

A couple of Journal its layered with a Wooden Camera mixed with some Resin pieces and a paper flower make up this cluster

Love using Wordfetti, for adding some extra 'journalling' of sorts to the page. So many fun little sentiments can be found within the range

And lastly the title made from black Thickers, and a few left over strips of paper bag, tissue paper and washi strips finish the page off.

Thanks for stopping by today, I will be back tomorrow with my last page for the month

Document Happy.. with D-lish Scraps

Hello Everyone!
Today I have the first of my 3 last pages for the current D-lish Scraps Team
I have really enjoyed being part of the team over the last 6 months. If you love D-lish goodies, then I encourage you to apply now for the next group of inspiring designers.

Now back to the layout ;)
Today, like the last 5 months, Im starting with an Inspiration Board layout
A reminder of the board which was shared HERE yesterday

I drew inspiration from the chevron patterns, feathers, birds and arrows. The Teal, blue, gold and white colours within the board are one of my favourite colour combinations that I just don't use enough, and Ive even added some slight hints of oranges.

Love how this has turned out. Such an easy sketch to play around with. And, Im really liking using up some of my paper bag stash. I've layered up 2 5x7 bags by opening them up and using them like I would pattern papers.

Ive used leftover strips from the chevron bag along the top and bottom of the page, layered with some offcuts of velum, embellished with a Resin Bird and enamel shapes, then splattered with Gold Color Shine

Main cluster of the page made with feathers (from a recent Crate Paper collection, perfect colours for this layout, and complimented the D-lish embellishments) an Arrow paper clipJournal It, some wooden buttons - one that Ive added some extra glitter to, and a flair button

I made my title using glitter paper and Heidi Swapp metal word dies, Ive stuck the words directly to the photos, which are mounted onto vellum, then a banner strip of punchinella

Theres some repetition of embellishments and clusters around this page, this mini cluster made of more wooden buttons and a Flair button

And lastly Ive mirrored the same strip and birds from the top of the page along the bottom, this time with 2 resin birds and a splattering of gold Color Shine.

Thanks for stopping by, be sure to share your projects with us on the D-lish Scraps Blog
Back with more tomorrow
Happy Scrapping
