Now onto my layout...
This was the colour palette we were given to use
And the layout I've created :)
I have used the April kit from A Piece of Cake designs for this layout. The colour combo of papers and embellishments worked well for this Challenge.
Ive gone back to basics with this weeks layout using Design A page protectors. Weeks flow better this way for me, so I think I will stick to this and use the many other designs for extra inserts between the weekly pages. As usual we had a pretty quiet week, so most photos are of Leila! Crazy Hair which needed a cut, and nap times are still in force since their return recently! The Keep Calm quote was from somewhere I can't remember! Would love a notes section on the iPad that was attached to photos so I could remember where I screen shot things from!
LOVING this kit and all the extras it contained. The journalling cards are all pretty cool. So hard to choose which ones I wanted to use!
It was a busy end to the week with work on a weekend.. doesn't happen often for men but was a nice change. There is a midweek insert to add in - once I finish it - that documents Leila's first haircut!!! She doesn't really have that much hair to warrant a proper cut, but it was getting so messy that it needed a tidy up! Oh and the ring was a spur of the moment, caught my eye, must try that on type of moment. No questions have been asked as yet lol
I didn't really add much else from my stash other than the black SMASH tape, Red alphas, Wood veneer arrows & heart, a Cherry Flair from A piece of Cake designs and the COFFEE DATE stamp from Give a Girl a...
Head on over to the Life. Paper. Scrapbook blog to see what the other talented ladies have created! You won't be disappointed.
Project Life is a concept designed by Becky Higgins. It is a range that works anyway you want it to. You don't have to embellish your layouts or use any extra products like I do. You can easily record an album full of memories with just a Core Kit, bulk pack of page protectors and a 12x12 Album. I purchase all my core products from Craft House - Exclusive stockist for Australia and New Zealand.
