Project Life WEEK 10

FINALLY I am getting somewhere with catching up!
I know I haven't shown my week 9 layout yet, but thats because I just can't get it finished lol Nothing is working for me in that week. So I moved onto week 10 and voila.......

(Excuse the glare on the Page protectors, wasn't the best light today)

For this week I have used the contents of the February Card Kit from Studio Calico. Love the colour palette! Had to add a few of my own embellishments as there isn't many in the kit. My journalling for the week is inside the envelope on the date card. Not a lot to say about the weeks events as we didn't get up to much - This was the week after the Melbourne Scrapbook Expo, where I helped out Craft House in showing off Project Life to thousands of new scrappers. The first few days after were pretty quiet but also quite hot in temperature! Start of more than a week of over 30degree days TOO HOT for me!! We enjoyed a few nights outside eating our dinner and playing with the dogs. And celebrated my Nanna's 80th Birthday on the Labour Day weekend.

 (again apologies for glare)
I have used a Design E page protector for this side of the layout and a Design C (available late april/may) for the right hand side. The YOU HAD ME AT "Woof" stamp is part of the 'My Buddy' April set release over at Give a Girl a.. This set is perfect for Cat & Dog owners!! I can't wait to get more use out of it. The Cherry Flairs are all from different sets available at A Piece of Cake designs. LOVE them!

I scrunched up some Vellum to use underneath the photo of my Nanna's cake for a different element to the page.

Other products used in this layout are Scrabble letter thickers from American Crafts, SMASH tape, wood veneer from Studio Calico and Freckled fawn, doilies from my stash and mini blue alpha's from the Feb SC Project Life Kit. I have also used stamps from the Endless Summer set by Give a Girl a

So thats my week 10.. I have photos printed for the next few weeks after that, now to find time to get them done!

Project Life is a concept designed by Becky Higgins. It is a range that works anyway you want it to. You don't have to embellish your layouts or use any extra products like I do. You can easily record an album full of memories with just a Core Kit, bulk pack of page protectors and a 12x12 Album. I purchase all my core products from Craft House - Exclusive stockist for Australia and New Zealand.
