My Favourite Spot | Amy Tangerine & Kellie Stamps

Hi there!!
Today I have a layout to share that some of you may have already seen posted on Instagram recently. I made this with the Kellie Stamps NSD challenge in mind. The challenge was to use stamps and at least 3 types of embellishments

I think I covered it well by using the newest collection from Amy Tangerine - Better Together

I only have the 6x6 papers, ephemera pack and puffy stickers in my stash, but I managed to make it work. I joined the papers together to make them look like 12x12 strips, then created my clusters. I did this by gathering pre cut cut files along with the cut apart sheets from the paper pad, die cuts from the ephemera pack, acetate designs and puffy stickers.

For the stamping I grabbed my newest set of Kellie Stamps - the AM to PM set, and my Shimelle roller date stamp.

I really love how bright and cheerful this layout is, and how its turned a rather ordinary photo and story into a beautiful page documenting why I love it.

Here's some close ups..

Typed journalling is by far my favourite thing to do lately.. and repetitive stamping :)

Thats all from me today

Hooray for feeling better | Hip Kit Club

Hi Everyone!!
A quick post today with a layout made using the February kits from Hip Kit Club
I made this over the interNational Scrapbooking day prior to starting any challenges. So very thankful that I was able to spend time crafting over the busy weekend we had. However in the end this was all I completed! Better than nothing at all hey?

I just went with the flow for this, I have no idea where it was heading, but Im happy with the end result

Ive used this cut file designed by Ashley Horton from the March free downloads for Hip Kit members

and cut it up into individual pieces to layer around the page

Here's some close ups

I'm really enjoying using cut files lately. Its fun to experiment with different designs

Just add Colour | Masters Entry Task 2 - multi photo layout

Hello!! I'm back today to share my second layout made as part of my Scrapbooking Memories Magazine Masters entry

This was made for Task 2 - Scrap a layout using at least three photographs

The layout turned out completely different to how I first imagined. When I saw it was a 3 or more photo layout I thought it would be perfect for a completely different group of photos. But while scrolling through my camera roll I came across this bunch of photos from a fun afternoon at the hairdressers. I knew instantly which products would suit and the story that I could document. The page layout changed completely and the photos had to be reprinted numerous times to get the right balance throughout the page, but in the end it turned into a super fun layout

You are my Happy | Masters entry Task 1 - 5x7 photo

Hello! Today I thought I would finally start sharing a closer look at the pages I sent in for the Scrapbooking Memories Masters Competition. Even though its had plenty of time to sink in, Im still in shock that I was chosen as one of 10 designers to hold this role for 2016!!

First share is Task 1 - Scrap a single layout using a 5x7 photo that must be engaging and have eye contact.

The photo I chose for this task is one of my most favourite photos of Leila, taken back in 2011 by Sara Taylor Photography before her 1st birthday. So adorable, and such a fun little photo shoot that day that resulted in many precious memories documented on film.

I found choosing the right photo to be the most challenging part of this task. I knew I wanted to scrap a photo of Leila, but more often than not, the photos I get of her are such a blur as she's hit that stage of not co-operating for Mumma! I chose the new 'Hello Lovely' Collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio as the colourings from the papers and embellishments complimented the colourings of the photo quite well.

Here's a closer look ..

Materials used
Cardstock and Vellum - American Crafts

Cocoa Vanilla Studio Hello Lovely Collection Pack
Papers - Delightful and Lucky Dip
Embellishments - Accessory Stickers, Ephemera pack, Wood Veneers and Sequins

Other tools/products
Heidi Swapp Color Shine - Gold Lame, Studio Calico doily, Sewing Machine & white thread, Tiny Attacher & Staples, Foam tape, Date stamp, Staz on ink - Stone Gray

Creative Cards | D-lish Scraps

Hi Everyone!
This is my last share for D-lish Scraps this month, and its just a quick one.

I was so inspired by the current Inspiration board that I wanted to make a couple of cards to add to my ever growing collection. I really must remember to start giving them to people, that is why we make them right?

Super sweet and oh so easy to make.

Card on the left made using : A strip of washi tape, piece of punchinella, mini coloured doilyprinted tagcardfetti strip and a bunch of paper flowers.

Card on the right : A strip of washi tapemini coloured doily, piece of punchinella, cardfetti stripglitter feather, a bunch of paper flowers, and a hand punched tag from my stash.

Super easy to re-create, just remember to give them out instead of forgetting them in my stash like I do :)

Thanks for stopping by today
Loads more inspiration coming up from the remainder of the team this month, so be sure to keep an eye on the D-lish Scraps blog

Just like Nanny | D-lish Scraps

Hello Fellow Scrappers!!
Welcome back to day 2 of D-lish Scraps sharing from me.
Today I thought I would share a cute layout of Leila that was inspired by our newest Inspiration Board. Such a cool and calming colour combo to play with

I've just recently re-organised all my D-lish goodies by colour! It was a massive task. Those who have seen my D-lish stash would understand as theres just so much of it!
However, I was able to really see what colours Im more drawn to when scrapping, and those I've never touched lol And it made it much easier to scrap knowing I wouldn't have to sort through everything to find the right items to embellish the page

And now a closer look at what I created..

I love the soft, cool vibe I get from this page. I chose to document a photo of Leila, being cute yet again. On this day she had run out of the room saying 'I want to be just like you Nanny' and came back in with my Mum's reading glasses. So cute! She even stopped and asked for a photo 'So you can add it to my book mum!' Well ok, I won't argue with that :)

I started the page with some diagonal stripe paper from my stash for the corners and a camera paper for the main photo mat. Between the camera and the photo I've layered a pretty doily with a printed doily tag, and a spotted paper bag at the back of the layers.

My favourite part of the page, apart from the photo, is this huge cluster of florals and circular shaped items. Made up of Flairpaper flowersresin flowers and a birdenamel shapes, felt doilies (old item no longer available), and a new item to the store - wood veneer stitchable hearts

The bottom cluster is made up of more resin & enamel pieces, a wordfetti strip and some fun aqua Punchinella. Love these colours together. That punchinella colour would have to be my favourite!

I kept the title quite simple, with a hint of sparkle. Just the way I like it!

and lastly the journalling typed up and documented.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, be sure to check back tomorrow for my final share for the month.
Until then, Happy Scrapping

Just Perfect | Scrap the Girls Challenge

Hi Everyone! 2 posts in 1 day?? It doesn't happen very often, but WOO HOO when it does ;)

I thought I might try my luck with the newly announced Scrap the Girls challenge. This is the first time entering these challenges as previous months Ive been quite busy. I managed to find some time yesterday to push some papers around and came up with something quite pretty

Heres a look at the sketch, you can find the post with all the details regarding the challenge HERE

To make it work for the photo I chose, I flipped & rotated the sketch so it looked more like this

And this is what I came up with, I hope you like it :)

I've used the 'Life is Beautiful' collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio and the recent cut files for the 'Colour me Happy' Collection. Backing cut files with pattern papers has become a fun new technique to try out lately, and these flowers were perfect for it. I absolutely adore this collection, and felt the colours worked well with this photo of Leila. Still can't believe how quickly she is growing up. Its like we blinked and missed half her life!

Stickers and die cuts are perfect for layering together. And whats a pretty, girly layout without my favourite doily?

Cant forget to add in some form of journalling. Even though I love my handwriting, I do prefer the clean look of typed journalling, it finishes the page off just nicely.

And lastly a closer look at the cut files cluster.. so pretty!

Thanks for stopping by again, be sure to check back for more creative fun tomorrow
Oh and heres the link to the current cut files in the Cocoa Vanilla Studio Shop

Until then, Happy Scrapping
